Community Yom HaShoah Program This Sunday

Haver, the Boulder Rabbinic Fellowship, presents a Community Yom HaShoah Service: Remembering the Holocaust Through Story, Song and Ceremony on Sunday, May 1st at 7 PM in the North Building at Congregation Har HaShem, 3950 Baseline Road in Boulder.

Jews throughout the world and other people of conscience stop what they are doing on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to remember the six million Jews who were systematically slaughtered because they were Jewish. Righteous gentiles who refused to stand idly by and others who were killed because their identity was unacceptable to the Nazis are also remembered.

Survivors from our community including Arnold Fridland, Bill Safrin and Doris Small will share memories and stories from their past, and readings and melodies will be performed.
