It’s been a whirlwind week for us, as school gets closer to wrapping up and the Festival moves into the home stretch. We’ve been following the tweets for Boulder Startup Week and have attended a few of the events. If you participated – we’d like to hear about your experiences. Start-up seems to be the theme of Shabbat this weekend too, with innovative approaches at several locations: Storahtelling at Har HaShem, Lev Neshama (Alternative Conservative) at Bonai Shalom, Rabbi Korngold’s hike and discussion of her new book, and a Hadassah Women’s Torah Service at Aish Kodesh. Lots of choices!
In other news, we’ve just learned of Ernie Harwell’s passing.. He was 92 and “the voice of summer” through the better part of five decades for Detroit Tiger fans.
As we were reminded at IgniteBoulder, Boulder really is a small town – so be nice to each other, because you’re bound to run into each other again around town. Have a great Shabbat!
