Week in Review: May 28th, 2010

Shabbat Shalom!  Wow, May is just about over! That flew by!  Local high school graduations took place last weekend, this was the last week of school for Boulder and St. Vrain kids, and next Thursday is the BJDS graduation.

Education is not only for kids – this weekend is LimmudColorado. We look forward to reports from the event! In the meantime, Boulder Jewish News is privileged to be receiving travel updates from Josh Zeldner, traveling in the Middle East before leading a NFTY (National Federation of Temple Youth) trip to Poland and Israel.

Neshama Carlebach’s inspiring concert Thursday night was co-sponsored by Menorah, Congregation Har HaShem, Congregation Bonai Shalom and the Boulder Weekly – just a sampling of what we can accomplish when we collaborate. And that’s just a warm up for the upcoming Boulder Jewish Festival next weekend. Get ready!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
