Week in Review: May 14th, 2010

Shabbat Shalom!  We’re heading into the last days of the Omer – have you been counting? Shavuot is next week and as with other holidays, we’ve added a holiday page that includes the articles on Boulder Jewish News and links to other info around the web. To find it: On the sidebar (right side) look for the “Holidays” tab and click on Shavuot. This tab is visible from any page on the site.
The Community Calendar is a terrific tool (we’re enjoying it a lot!). Did you know you can use it to add events to your own calendar, and to sign up for an event reminder by email or text for any event? It even allows you to set how far in advance you get the reminder. We’re working with the organizations in town to improve the consistency of the calendar listings, to make it even more searchable and functional. Hope you’ll check it out.
Have a great weekend

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
