Week in Review: December 31st, 2010

Shabbat Shalom and Happy New Year!  We’ve truly reached the end of the year (and the first decade of the 21st century while we’re at it).  The week has been a quiet one, with many people on holiday, either at home or out of town.  We look forward to lots of activity in January!

I did receive a video link from StandWithUs that I have to admit, as a graduate of the UCLA business school, I found pretty embarrassing.  It’s called Israel IQ at UCLA and as an indictment of prep and higher education, it speaks volumes.  (Of course, we don’t know how many students they talked to in total to get the several kids in this video.)  This will give you a chuckle, but the kind you get along with a sinking feeling…

Have a great New Year’s/Shabbat, and we’ll see you next year!

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
