Week in Review: April 9th, 2010

Shabbat Shalom! Whew, did Passover seem longer this year? You may have noticed – we have added an Omer Counter to the sidebar, to help us all stay on track. If you click on it, it goes to Chabad.org for the blessings.

One of the joys of publishing this “paper” is seeing first-hand the creativity and spirituality of our community. While we have events non-stop, we also have community members who take the time to write, share and stir our hearts. Whether it’s a film review, a poem, or something you just want to share – it has a home here.

We are also trying to expand our reach – please help by sharing Boulder Jewish News with friends and others in the community who may not have visited the site yet. We have recently added an improved community calendar tool – check it out here. You can select dates, different views (day/week/month), filter by organization, and even search through listings. Just for fun – check it out and click the view for “Multi-week.” It’s amazing what goes on in Boulder.

About Editor

I'm David Fellows, and I've served as a writer, photographer and/or an editor on my junior high and high school newspapers; the Daily Trojan at USC (where I earned my journalism degree); the student newspaper at the Anderson School at UCLA (where I earned my MBA); and I've written and edited countless business documents and presentations in the ensuing twenty years. I was also a professional photographer from 1978 to 1988 (although you never really stop...). I've been involved Jewishly since my bris and in Boulder since 1995. I'm married to my Executive Director Cheryl, and we have two children, Lauren and Ethan.
