This Week for CU’s Jewish Buffs

Jews at CU will be busy this upcoming week!

Monday

At 7:30 p.m., Chabad will be hosting A Jewish Wedding- The Marriage of Two Souls. This is the second of a three-part lecture series on the Jewish life cycle. This event is taking place at Chabad on 775 17th Street. A Mexican Dinner will be served.

Tuesday

Chabad’s Talmud Tuesday is at 12:30 p.m.

Hillel’s Weekly BBQ is at 5:30 p.m. This event is at Hillel, located at 2795 Colorado Avenue.

Wednesday

Chabad’s Jewish Law class is at 1 p.m.

The women of Chabad are hosting guest speaker Aliza Bulow, a noted lecturer and teacher from Denver, to discuss the Torah perspective on Feminine Sexuality, at their weekly Women in the Torah class. The event is at 8:00 p.m. on 821 19th Street.

Friday

Hillel’s L’dor V’dor is at 4:00 p.m. Meet at Hillel and help deliver Shabbat meals to Jewish elders in the community.

Hillel’s Shabbat services are at 6:00 p.m. The meal starts at 7:00 p.m.

This week is “Host a Shabbat” at Chabad. There’s no regular Shabbat dinner.
