Shira Hill Bat Mitzvah

On Saturday, August 7th, 2010 (27 Av 5770) Shira Hill, daughter of Steve and Robyn Hill was called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah at Congregation Bonai Shalom. Shira  read all but one aliyah from Parashat Re’eh (triennial cycle), chanted the haftorah, and led the congregation in Musaf.

Boulder Jewish News encourages Bar and Bat Mitzvah students to submit their d’var torah and information about their Mitzvah/Tikkun Olam projects.  For more information, please email editor@boulderjewishnews.org.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
