Rabbi Yoel Glick: Seeking the Divine Presence

Fusing Ancient Tradition with a Universal Outlook and the Living Presence of God

A unique opportunity to spend a Shabbat “Seeking the Divine Presence” with rabbi and spiritual director Yoel Glick is upcoming this month. Ordained by Yeshivah University as well as by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, Yoel Glick is a teacher of Jewish meditation and spirituality who has been teaching and guiding seekers on the path for over twenty years. He brings with him the wisdom of the rabbis, Kabbalists, and Hassidic Masters combined with the knowledge of the mystical and esoteric traditions of other faiths, such as Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, and Sikh.

Rabbi Glick will begin his teaching on Thursday, October 28th, 6:30 pm, with a public talk – “Building the Temple of the Heart.” This will be followed by a Shabbaton – “Creating a God-Centered Path in Judaism” – which will take place on October 29th at 5:30 pm and October 30th between 9:30 – 12:00 am and 5:00 – 7:00 pm. You may choose to come to any of the days events. On Saturday, please come to both sessions. Rabbi Glick will offer individual spiritual direction sessions on Sunday, October 31st, by appointment. Rabbi Ori Har received ordination as Mashpi'ah Ruchanit, Sage-ing Mentor and Rabbi from ALEPH - Alliance for Jewish Renewal. She co-founded and directs the Center for Spiritual Friendship in Boulder - an interfaith center for Hashpa'ah in many forms. She serves as a spiritual director for individuals, and groups, as well as leading Sage-ing workshops. Reb Ori is also a practitioner of Embodied Torah and devotional dance, and is on faculty in The Embodying Spirit Training Program. Ori has been an adult educator of Biblical Hebrew, Torah and meditation for over twenty years, and is the author of "God Speaks Here and Now: A Guide for Living."
