Rabbi Miriam Jerris

Rabbi Miriam Jerris, Society for Humanistic Judaism’s Rabbi, is visiting Colorado and Beth Ami Congregation November 13-15, 2010. Rabbi Jerris has been a member of the Society for Humanistic Judaism and committed to its philosophic principles since 1970. She serves as president of the Association of Humanistic Rabbis.

Schedule of Events

Saturday, November 13

10:00 am:  Family Nature Hike and Humanistic Journey Through Life at Standley Lake, followed by community lunch at a casual restaurant nearby.

7:30 pm:    Havdalah with Rabbi Jerris at Montview Blvd Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia St, Denver 80220. Following the service, Rabbi Jerris will present “Praying Without God: What Do Humanistic Jews Do?

Sunday, November 14

10:00 am:  Jewish Cultural School and Adult Ed with Rabbi Jerris.

Monday, November 15

7:00 pm:  Rabbi Jerris speaks at Boulder JCC, presenting “Praying Without God: What Do Humanistic Jews Do?
