Longmont Shabbat Group Meets Monthly
The Longmont Shabbat Group is a community-based Jewish group that holds informal Jewish Sabbath services on the third Friday of every month. The services include lighting Shabbat candles, blessing the wine, blessing the challah, and informal readings. Oneg Shabbat (food and socializing) follows each service.

Purim is fast approaching and of course, two of the important aspects of the holiday involve wine - "drink until you can't tell Mordechai from Haman" - and giving charity to the poor. If you are thinking of meaningful ways to fulfill the mitzvah to give charity to the poor, here's a novel idea that connects Israel, wine and charity.
Har HaShem’s Spiritual Support Group, called Refuat Hanefesh, is open to people living with mental health issues, their family members and friends. The next meeting is March 5th.
