Full-night of entertainment and lack of Christmas decor will make this party the place to be on Dec. 25.
Denver, Colo., — December 2, 2010 — E-3 Events, a community organization dedicated to bringing together Jews in their twenties, thirties and forties, is currently selling tickets to Heebonism 2010, a party tradition in Colorado for nearly two decades.
The annual celebration is the largest local gathering of young and youngish Jewish professionals all year. Heebonism, with an expected attendance of 500+, will return to the gorgeous JET Hotel, 1612 Wazee Street, in historic Lodo.
With the entertainment lineup, the timing, and our enthusiastic fan base, this will be the biggest Heebonism, yet,” said Eric Elkins, who, along with Ean Seeb and Ezra Shanken, formed E-3 Events in 2008. “Plus, we’re giving away Tequila Proximus drinks in the early part of the evening. So…you know…that can’t hurt.”
If you thought last year’s entertainment was good, then you’re going to wet your pants this year,” said co-founder Ean Seeb. “Our pals, popular local DJs Ginger Perry and Klaw, will host the night, and they’re bringing along Kid Stardust to provide visuals, with entertainment by Mike Disco and Rose (from the world famous Beauty Bar). Oh, Raul San Miguel Photography is hosting a photo booth!”
E-3 is proud to welcome agency co-hosts again,” said Ezra Shanken, the third ‘E’ in E-3. “We’re partnering with Hebrew Educational Alliance, Birthright Israel Next Denver, Mizel Museum, and Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado. Our newest co-host is Stepping Stones, an organization dedicated to supporting interfaith families. We’ve moved Heebonism from Christmas Eve to Christmas night this year, to honor the inclusiveness that’s part of the E-3 charter. Christmas Eve falls on a Friday, and we didn’t want to exclude Jews who don’t go out on the Sabbath.”
This is an opportunity for newcomers and those already connected to the Jewish community to hang out, drink up, maybe even hook-up,” added Eric Elkins. “It’ll be fun for singles, but it’s also a great date night for couples. Who doesn’t love a hot party on a cold Saturday night?”
And, anyway,” added Ezra Shanken, “if you’re Jewish in Denver, what else are you going to do after your traditional Chinese food Christmas dinner?”
Advance tickets are available exclusively on the E-3 website (http://www.e-3events.com). Heebonism 2010 will start at 8:30pm on December 25. E-3 is maintaining a low price of admission: $18 in advance, or $25 at the door. The door price will be discounted to $20 for anyone who brings three non-perishable food items for Jewish Family Service’s Weinberg Food Pantry.
The JET Hotel is offering room rates as low as $99 (includes two tickets to Heebonism) and bottle specials. Hotel rooms are subject to availability. For room reservations, contact 303.572.3300 or reservations@thejethotel.com. For VIP bottle service contact 720.308.2366 or vip@thejethotel.com.
