Bruce DeBoskey Announces Formation of Philanthropic Advisory Consulting Practice

Bruce DeBoskey of The DeBoskey Group

Bruce DeBoskey, former ADL Regional Director, announced the formation of The DeBoskey Group, a philanthropic advisory consulting practice created to help families, businesses and foundations organize, strategize and maximize the impact of their philanthropic initiatives.

With high unemployment and government budget shortfalls, the services provided by the nonprofit sector are more important than ever,” said DeBoskey. “The DeBoskey Group will help donors make the most of their charitable giving – increasing the impact of their gifts by providing strategic advice, planning and research services. Whether people have been giving for years or are new to philanthropy, we can help them make a real difference in their community, nation and world.”

DeBoskey has also begun writing a monthly column on philanthropy for the Denver Post. The column appears in the business section of the Sunday edition.

For more than 30 years, Bruce DeBoskey has been dedicated to community building and social justice, through both his professional and volunteer work. He founded The DeBoskey Group in 2010 to help families, businesses and foundations achieve their philanthropic objectives. He also serves as a coach for non-profit organizations, bringing his expertise and experience to help them with fundraising, marketing, media relations, board and staff development and crisis management.

Prior to founding The DeBoskey Group, Bruce served for eight years as Regional Director for the Mountain States Region of the Anti-Defamation League. Before that, he was a shareholder in Silver & DeBoskey, a 30-person law firm specializing in dispute resolution for complex civil matters. Bruce’s areas of practice included discrimination, civil rights, professional liability, environmental torts, personal injury, employment disputes and business litigation.

Bruce holds an A.B. from Indiana University in Political Science and Environmental Studies and received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is married and the father of four boys.
