Chanukah Set to a Reggae Beat

Chanukah Set to a Reggae Beat

Jerusalem by way of Jamaica. Carribean breeze meets desert wind. Hebreggae.

Hard to describe Jus Goodie. He’s Justin Goodman. Boulder musician. Make that multi-talented musical artist. Loves Motown and R&B. Raised in a Jewish household filled with Jewish music. Takes trip to Jamaica at 14. Mind blown.

Grows awesome set of dreads. Starts singing songs of liberation. Gets spiritual groove on. Joins  world music revolution. Sings Hine Mah Tov in Hebrew to reggae beat. Composes own fusion melodies.

Forms a band. Tours the US. Shares the stage with Luciano, Gregory Isaccs, Morgan Heritage, Anthony B, The Meditations Yami Bolo, Everton Blender, Eek-A-Mouse, Sizzla, Capleton, Culture, Damian Marley, Burning Spear and Hasidic Reggae star Matisyahu.

Hard to describe. Happy, soulful, uplifting.

Freedom from oppression. Liberation from tyranny. Timeless messages. Hip new style. Check it out.
