Our second through fifth grade classes will have a Shabbaton this Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20, at Boulder Jewish Day School. We will enjoy traditional Shabbat food, Shabbat evening and morning services, fun games, and many activities that will bring our students closer than ever. We will conclude the Shabbaton with a Havdalah Service when the children are picked up on Saturday evening at 6:45 p.m.
Parents are welcome to join us at Shabbat evening services at BJDS on Friday, February 19 , beginning at 7 p.m; and on Saturday, February 20, at the 10 am morning service at Pardes Levavot (Torah service from 11:00am – noon).
The theme for this Shabbaton will be Trumah – giving/ contribution. Some of our alumini will be joining us, including: Hanna Rosenblum; Ariel & Eviatar Shlosberg; and Matan Bilavsky.
This Shabbaton will give our children the flavor of a traditional Shabbat experience, enhanced by the presence of our wonderful teachers: Eti, Jared, Alisha and Lynne.
