The Boulder Jewish Day School held a Graduation Program for its Class of 2010: Chava Kornfeld and Tasha Levy. Both graduating fifth graders will be attending Summit Middle School next year.
The Program featured a performance by the BJDS Choir, D’var Torah by Morah Yehudis Fishman, farewells from the teachers, graduation speeches from each of the graduates, a slideshow featuring Chava and Tasha, presentation of their diplomas and their graduation gifts — a Tanach. The morning concluded with T’fillah service led by Rabbi Gavriel Goldfeder and featuring Chava and Tasha serving as gabbais.
The graduates, also best friends, mentioned in their speeches that they had not only acquired excellent academic knowledge at BJDS but that they had also learned the importance of being good people, having a good heart, and following Torah values.
Head of School Shoshi Bilavsky bid a fond farewell to this class, her last graduating class at the Boulder Jewish Day School. She thanked the students and staff for their hard work, and pointed out in several ways the importance of a day school education in the Jewish world. “Academics is easy,” she said. “The hard part is teaching them to make the right choices.”

I miss that school. I loved the graduation though! Nothing's better than graduating with your best friend and classmates by your side!
