PJ Library holds a Tzekakah Celebration on Sunday with Rabbi Marc Soloway, for preschoolers through third graders and their families.

A PJ Party Not to Miss!

Have you ever wondered how in the world to teach your young child about the meaning of tzedakah and tikkun olam? Well, here’s your chance to let the learning begin! Join us for a PJ Library Tzekakah celebration at Congregation Bonai Shalom with Rabbi Marc Soloway – for preschoolers – third graders and their families!

When we think of Purim, we might think of dressing in costumes and “The Book of Esther.” However, an important part of Purim is to perform acts of tzedakah or charity. Come and hear Rabbi Marc tell the story “A Thread of Kindness: A Tzedakah Story” by Leah Shollar. He’ll also talk about what children can do to perform Purim “Mitzvot.” At the end of the program, you’ll get to decorate a tzedakah box of your own to take home.

Sunday, February 7, 3 – 4 pm at Congregation Bonai Shalom, 1527 Cherryvale Road, Boulder. $5 per family. Registration deadline: Thursday, Feb. 4
To attend, please register at www.boulderjcc.org or call Beth at 720-364-1812.

Co-Sponsored by Shalom Baby and Congregation Bonai Shalom.
