Homeless Shelter Needs Blankets

Boulder’s Homeless Shelter is almost completely out of heavy blankets for turnaways, and they have been having numerous turnaways (due to their building capacity) almost every night for the past three weeks.  If you know of anyone who may have blankets to donate, NOW is the time when they could really use them. Blankets can be donated at the shelter.  The Shelter is located at 4869 North Broadway– on the northwest corner of Broadway and Lee Hill Road.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!

  1. Thank you for sharing this need with the community. For those who do not get the opportunity to sleep in a warm bed, blankets can be critical to making it through a cold night.

  2. Thanks to Joy Weinstein and Joan Nagel who kindly passed along the Shelter's email to us.
