CANCELLED: Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean

The bad news is that due to illness, the author of “Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean” has canceled his speaking engagements, including his Boulder appearance on Sunday November 15.  The “Jewish Pirates of the Caribbean” books are still available at the Book Fair (click here for hours).

The good news is that tickets are still available for “Save the Deli” on Monday, November 16. RSVP by November 12 to kathryn@boulderjcc.org.  “Save the Deli” will be held at Jimmy & Drew’s Deli and space is limited. Have you been there lately? Here are a few of their treats (from lunch). They are now open for breakfast as well.

David Sax was interviewed in the Forward last week:  Saving Pastrami on Rye:   David Sax Is an Unlikely Advocate for a Cuisine in Jeopardy. And – Tuesday at 11:59 pm the Favorite Deli Contest will end – still a good opportunity to win a gift certificate to Jimmy & Drew’s! Click here to leave a comment and enter the contest.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
