4 Questions for Aric Goodman

Aric Goodman, placekicker for the CU Buffs, is the honored Menorah-Lighter at Monday night’s Grand Menorah Lighting on Pearl Street (5:30 pm, 1300 block, on the bricks in front of the Boulder County Courthouse).  BJN thought that readers might be interested in knowing a little more about Aric before coming out to meet him Monday night.

What’s your favorite Chanukah memory?

I don’t know if I really have one in particular. I really enjoy our whole family getting together and spending time with one another. Time spent with family and friends is priceless.

Do you prefer applesauce or sour cream on your latkes?

Neither. Im a big fan of them plain. My Bubbie can make a pretty mean latke.

What are you majoring in and what do you hope to do after CU? (yes, that’s a double question!)

I’m double majoring at the Leeds School of Business, in both Operations and Information Management and Management. I’m hoping to find a job in either the ski industry or the sports industry, as both play large roles in my life. I would like nothing more than to find a job in these fields which I love, and enjoy everyday.

Which team is going to the Super Bowl?

I wouldn’t be a true Bronco fan without giving a plug to the Broncos. So I’ll go with Denver 🙂

Thanks, Aric! See you on Monday night for candlelighting, music, sufganiot and hot drinks, followed by a party at the Lazy Dog to watch FACE compete.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
