Dine Out and support the Boulder JCC at Rueben’s Burger Bistro on Thursday, June 23rd, starting at 11:30 am. Enjoy one of their many burgers for lunch or dinner!

All you need to do is bring a flyer and present it to your server when ordering. Twenty five percent (25%) of your check, excluding Happy Hour Items, will benefit the Boulder JCC.

Rumble in the Jungle at Har HaShem

There’s a rumble in the jungle! Save the date for Congregation Har Hashem’s annual fundraiser on Saturday, April 9th at 6:30 PM to be held at 3950 Baseline Road, Boulder in the South Building.

“An Enchanted Evening in the Rain Forest” will be a fun and entertaining night accompanied by delicious food, dancing, and friendship in honor of the founders of Congregation Har HaShem.

Terrific catered hors d’oeuvres and dinner!
Dancing of all kinds to popular band AOA!
A hip moped raffle!
An entertaining paddle raiser led by master of ceremonies Gary Shapiro of 9NEWS!
And other surprises!

All age adults are invited to rock out in the rain forest to the fabulous sounds of AOA (Alive on Arrival). This upbeat live band plays an extensive repertoire of original jazz compositions, classic hits, standards, R&B, acid jazz, funk, and pop tunes.

Are your drawers, closets and garage stuffed? We have the solution. Donate things to the Women of Har HaShem Garage Sale!

The Women of Har HaShem Garage Sale will take place on Sunday, June 13th, at Har HaShem’s South Building – 3950 Baseline Road, Boulder.

We need things to SELL at this giant fundraiser that benefits Har HaShem.

Donate articles during the week of June 7 – 11 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. All donations are at the South Building. Please make sure everything is clean and in saleable condition. We will accept household appliances, home furnishings, anything for children, books, sporting equipment, audio/visual equipment, and lots else that is cluttering your house. We CANNOT accept beds, adult clothing or any chemicals, including paint.

Shop on Sunday, June 13th between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. See you there!

Noodles & Company is sponsoring a fundraising event for Boulder Jewish Day School (BJDS) on Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 5-9 pm. BJDS hopes that this fundraiser will allow everybody a chance to eat their “chametz” before Pesach starts, as well as supporting the day school.

The fundraiser is only being held at the Noodles & Company located at 29th Street, and participants must bring a copy of the flier or mention the fundraiser in order for Noodles to make the donation to the school. Join us at a fundraiser for Boulder Jewish Day School where you can MAKE MONEY instead of spending it. Bring any unwanted or broken gold jewelry and you’ll receive cash in your pocket. On top of what you get paid, the gold buyer gives a percentage of what they pay out to BJDS. Local artists will also sell their jewelry at this adults only fundraiser that will take place on Sunday, February 21st from 3:30-5:30 at 1945 Vassar Circle. Questions? Purim FUNraiser at Bonai Shalom

Congregation Bonai Shalom, Boulder’s conservative synagogue is having a fundraiser connected with the holiday of Purim. One of the traditions of this holiday is to give gifts of food to friends and to the poor. To that end, we are selling “Purim Baskets” filled with kosher, mostly organic, mostly Boulder-based food products, as well as coupons for other items from Boulder businesses.

We are inviting your business to participate with us on this project. We anticipate making 250 baskets. Here are a couple of ideas – we hope that one of these fits your business:

Coupons: A donation of 250 “free” coupons (e.g., free cup of coffee, free appetizer, free dessert, etc).
Gift cards: A donation of up to 5 gift cards with $25 or more in value.
If you have another sponsoring idea – let’s talk.

All sponsors receive:

Sponsor name/business name/logo included in the card that goes with each package, listing the donors for the basket.
Recognition in the Bonai Shalom newsletter and a link on our website to your business.
Recognition in emails and other promotional material related to this fundraiser.

The 200+ member families of Bonai Shalom are the direct beneficiaries of this fundraiser and a perfect target market for your business. Your donation has the opportunity to reach over 600 people this way. We will be assembling the packages in late February and ask for your commitment not later than February 12.
