Letty Margolis (Leah Yetta bat Rachel Sarah), mother of Michael Margolis, died peacefully in the very early hours of Wednesday morning, November 19. Michael and Beth were both with her as she breathed her last breaths. Michael moved his parents here to Colorado in the last few weeks and Letty’s decline in health was quicker than expected, even though she was terminally ill. Letty was a loving and generous woman who leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Mel, her daughter Andi, son Michael and their families. The burial will be in Chicago and the family will be going there in the next days. We will keep you informed if any part of shiva will happen back in Boulder.
Peace on the neshama of Leah Yetta in her continuing journey. Hamakom y’nachem et haavelim – strength and comfort to the mourners; Letty’s devoted husband Mel, to Michael, Beth and Ezra and to Andi, her husband Douglas, their sons Eric and Zachary and their daughter Maia.
