Chanukah at CU was a very cold one, but there was still a large showing of students at the Grand Menorah Lighting. The event was co-sponored by CU Chabad and Hillel groups. Students enjoyed hot drinks, fresh latkas and sufganiot. Michael Leeds lit the Menorah to live music. For just a minute everyone took in the light and forgot about the cold. It was a beautiful site of Jewish Unity and Pride on the CU campus.
Young and old joined for a late afternoon of skating to Chanukah Music at Winterskate in Louisville, schmoozing, noshing and participating in the lighting of the large menorah.
