Greetings, on a magnificent Friday afternoon. All are in modestly exotic bloom, Jerusalem Jasmine perfumes the day, Spring fever is high, and baruch Hashem my bride of brides flew in for the song of songs. In J’lem since January, I’m a student at Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, resident photographer for Encounter, and soaking up more Israel than you can shake a sponge at. Squeeze me later.
For now, some good news: there is agreement to celebrate the miraculous gift of Spring. Its done like this in Tel Aviv. Shabbat shalom.
