Ruth Hannum, z”l

I am sad to inform you that Ruth Hannum, Rachel bat Fishel v’ Ada, Wayne Seltzer’s mother, passed away on Monday afternoon right before Passover. She was 80 years old and died suddenly of a heart attack. The funeral was Thursday afternoon at the Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte, NC, where Ruth will be buried near her mother Ada Aronowitz.

Wayne will be returning to Boulder in the next few days.  The shiva officially starts after Passover and there will be three minyanim:  Tuesday, April 26th at 9:00 pm, Wednesday, April 27 at 7:30 pm and Monday, May 2nd (last night of shiva) at 7:30 pm.

All services will be at Wayne and Jackie’s home.  Please note that any food brought into their house must be strictly peanut and pinenut free.

Thank you all in advance for supporting Wayne and Jackie at this time.  Alehah hashalom – peace on Ruth’s soul and great strength and comfort to Wayne, his brother and the rest of the family. Hamakom y’nachem.

Blessings,

Rabbi Marc
