From the Jewish Outreach Institute:

We are thrilled to share BRAND NEW FREE family-friendly tools for this High Holiday season!!  We invite you to take advantage of our 2011 High Holiday activity calendar and FREE companion outreach program.

Introducing the Color-Me Calendar for the Jewish New Year — JOI’s fun and educational calendar program that helps your Jewish community find and engage unaffiliated families with young children where they are. The calendar program brings to life core principles of Big Tent Judaism: Increasing Points of Access, Lowering Barriers to Participation, and Creating Partnerships. This year, JOI is thrilled to offer a brand new calendar in collaboration with our friends at Shalom Sesame* featuring images of Elmo, Grover, and other Muppets, and new educational resources for the whole family. We invite Jewish communal professionals and volunteer leaders to bringColor-Me Calendar for the Jewish New YearSM to your communities this High Holiday season by participating in a LIVE webinar Wednesday, July 13th at 1:00 EST (Please adjust to your time zone) Learn how to access this FREE tool, and explore:

  • How you can create simple outreach programs around the Color-Me Calendar to find those who are not yet connected to your institutions this High Holiday season;
  • How the calendar can be positioned as a marketing and engagement tool to connect more deeply to local families with young children beyond the High Holiday season;
  • Where the calendar can be used and how it can augment your existing late summer and High Holiday family programs.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound Too," because I'm sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. My buddies know me as "Rocky." I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was adopted from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley and have many friends there also looking for homes.
