HospiceCare of Boulder is holding a two-part workshop on Sunday October 3rd and October 24th designed for the Jewish community to help in making choices and communicating wishes as CRITICAL END OF LIFE DECISIONS are made. Learn about advance directives, health care agents, and medical technologies at the end of life. Sponsored by HospiceCare, Jewish Family Services, Boulder JCC, and Maimonides. The workshops run from 1:00 pm — 5:00 pm both days (attend one or both) at the Boulder JCC. No charge but reservations required. RSVP to Jane Cohen at email@example.com or call 303-604-5294
Beyond a typical community service project, three b'nai mitzvah students chose to focus their love for animals on a service-learning project with Ekar Farm, Denver’s Jewish community farm.
Who would have thought that the prepared foods counter at the Whole Foods on Pearl Street would be the place where the Jewish community goes to feel a sense of pride?
