HospiceCare of Boulder is holding a two-part workshop on Sunday October 3rd and October 24th designed for the Jewish community to help in making choices and communicating wishes as CRITICAL END OF LIFE DECISIONS are made. Learn about advance directives, health care agents, and medical technologies at the end of life. Sponsored by HospiceCare, Jewish Family Services, Boulder JCC, and Maimonides. The workshops run from 1:00 pm — 5:00 pm both days (attend one or both) at the Boulder JCC. No charge but reservations required. RSVP to Jane Cohen at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-604-5294
The program runs from August to May and is geared for students in seventh grade. Currently, there are two spots left for the 2017-2018 school year.
In this week's Torah portion, we learn about the rebellion which Korach led against Moses.
