BJN dropped by the Spice of Life Event Center to check out their Mock Mitzvah event planning extravaganza — a very cool event! Great food, great music, and lots of event-related vendors. Here’s a slide show of what we found there:

They call me "NewsHound," because I'm sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. My hiking buddies know me as "Brownie." I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. I was adopted from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley and have many friends there also looking for homes.
[...] People of all ages LOVE ShutterBooth. This becomes more and more evident each time we bring the booth to an event. A perfect example of this is at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Teenagers love the props, the spontaneity and the fact that there is no one on the other side of the lens and they can truly be themselves. On March 7th a “Mock Mitzvah” was held at A Spice of Life Event Center in Boulder to display all of the unique aspects of Mitzvah planning.
